Hi, I am British 22M and I have applied to Interac for a placement starting in August / September next year. I originally applied for JET, but needed health papers that I could not get as I am abroad at the moment. I am currently in Spain as an ALT. I had my video interview today and apparently, I will know if I was successful in two or three weeks!
I studied in Tokyo two years ago, so I have asked if I could have a placement there, although if not, I wouldn’t mind being placed anywhere else. Did you get your choice of placement?
Does anyone have experiences with Interac (and their process)? What is it like as an ALT with them?
Where were you placed and what was your school / daily life like?
If you were in a rural area, did you meet many foreign / Japanese friends?
