This morning my flight from Narita to Asahikawa (GK801) got cancelled. I guessed it was due to the recent worker strike.
They offered me a flight change for free to the next available flight, which is tomorrow. Thus, I have no choice but to stay for one more night in Tokyo.
Beside receiving free flight change, is there any other compensation that I am entitled to? Perhaps free voucher or anything.
I read their policy but found nothing, only that free flight change. Did I miss something or that’s just it?
I am Club Jetstar member if that helps with anything.
UPDATE: They offered me three points: flight reschedule to tomorrow which includes hotel reimburse as much as 8000 JPY, a full refund of the airfare, and flight reschedule to today’s flight to Shin Chitose. Because I am not in rush, I chose the first option.
The hotel refund mentioned above will be processed afterwards, through their live chat service on their website.
