I contacted 2 language schools about attending this upcoming October. I asked about how much funds I would need to show proof of for a 6 month visa. But every time I contact the schools they keep getting different answers and not the right information. Such as they’ll tell me how much I need for 1 year visa?. They sent me the paperwork saying 2.5 million yen(1 year visa) but then emailed me later that day saying I only need 1.5 million yen for a year even though I acquired about a 6 month visa? I have 1 million yen saved up for visa at the moment, when I move to japan I’ll have over 2 million yen plus my “paycheck” from America. Is 1 million yen enough proof of funds for 6 month visa, and any recommendations of good language schools. T
