Itinerary Check— 25 nights in Japan

We are both 19 years old and this will be our first time in Japan. We are hoping to visit all the most popular attractions that Japan has to offer as well as visiting less urban cities. We didn’t plan any restaurants as we just plan to wander in to restaurants as we explore the city (not animal cafes). We also did not want to make each day too busy as we enjoy walking to different destinations and being able to get lost and not be in a rush. We are going to book and reserve seats for all of our transportation one month in advance. Any advice (such as telling us we are doing too much in one day or too little) would be much appreciated!

  1. You can climb mt Fuji in June?
I thought the climbing season starts in July…

  2. I am planning to go on 18th may for two weeks
And suddenly I feel it’s not enough days lol. Nice itinerary.

  3. I have not been yet, but on the way to Hiroshima perhaps you could stop at Himeji castle which is supposedly more interesting compared to Hiroshima castle?
