Ugh, I’m so annoyed… MIU-404 is still on Netflix, but it isn’t on my computer browser. And I guess this question is also helpful for when I get the box set. I’m planning on ordering the box set of MIU-404 from the Japanese Amazon site once I get the money to do so.
But it’s *so* weird.

The box set appears to have 日本語字幕 so just read them and look up words when you run across them with radical look ups or listen for how they’re pronouncing them and just type in the reading into your choice of dictionary matching the word to the subtitles.
If you want to use something like YomiTan to pop-up search them then you can rip the files from disk and put it on your desktop, then use something like: https://github.com/killergerbah/asbplayer and YomiTan to do your normal pop-up dictionary look ups.
I do the former method since most of what I watch has hard embedded JP subtitles and my listening is detailed enough to hear the hiragana for look ups quite conveniently.
