Learning by simply watching YouTube videos that have hardsubs (and no subs) and playing games that have voice acting/text.
Edit: not looking for unhelpful comments like “this doesn’t work”. I’m just looking for the people who know it works to share their tips and experiences.

You can’t just listen to Japanese videos and playing games in Japanese
You have to pair that with other learning resources. Do some research and try to find something you like
Serious question…what kind of tips are you looking for? By the sound of the post, you plan to learn Japanese by playing games and watching videos only. If that’s all you plan on doing, what tips do you need?
