My Japanese spouse and I are thinking of returning to Japan to raise our child. Outside of teaching English there is not much else I could do. My Japanese is also almost non-existent at this point. I plan on studying the language of course, but realistically speaking I do not think I would ever have the ability to ever work in an office environment.
For those of you who switched out of teaching what did you end up doing? Besides those who have started English schools. Did you start a business, get employed in another field, acquire another skill etc..
