Dear 2024 JET Program Applicants,
The following is an important announcement from the JET Program Office at the Embassy of Japan in Washington, DC:
This year, JET Program USA interviews will be held entirely online. Since all interviews will be held virtually this year, we would like your interview location to reflect the location that you intend to depart from if selected as a 2024 JET Program participant. If you need to change your interview location, please message our staff through the JET Inbox of your JET Portal account by Friday, December 15th. All applicants are expected to depart from the location they choose to interview with. We will not accept requests after the deadline.
For a list of our interview and departure locations, visit us at https://jetprogramusa.org/interview-departure-locations/. Please note that Salt Lake City is only a departure location, not an interview location. In addition, interviewees for Hagatna must be Guam/Saipan residents.
Interview notifications will be sent to applicants in January, and interviews will take place in late January or early February. Exact dates are determined by each interview location. Successful applicants will be contacted directly by the JET Program Coordinator(s) at their chosen interview location about timeslots.
