The entire northern coast of Noto was spared from tsunami due to the fault-line levitating the entire coast for 4 meters in less then five seconds during the quake

3. The very tragic and ironic fact is that according to some media, many people in central Wajima district were trapped in hi-rise building only to be engulfed by flames. Probably they did that in response to the tsunami alert but instead the city was destroyed by the extreme rapid acceleration from the land rising one meter per second and not the wave. The wave devastated largely the more southern part of the peninsula instead which was lifted far less apparently. About half of the missing 200 people are from Wajima city alone.

4. Wasn’t Noto where they bought that giant squid with emergency COVID money?

5. I thought the boat in the explanation video was for illustrative purpose. Then I saw the real boat lying the same way. It threw me up.

6. Levitated? Like it floated and went back down? Or elevated? As in it’s still 4 meters higher?
