studying in university

Hello, I’m from 3rd world country. I did try to do a research for which is better for me so please don’t be insensitive and make bad comments because I can’t find anything. It’s all about eu and na.

My question is, is studying in Japan better than in my country? I also have a goal to help the people in Japan through majoring psychology (I might get masters to doctorate too if I can). I do have a descendant visa already.

Edit: we’re planning on permanently living in Japan next month so I’m hesitating if I should finish my degree in my country first before I go with them. I still have 3 years before I finish it.

Without knowing what country you’re from it’s impossible to answer this question.

You need to search this subreddit for some of the ***many*** times we have talked about being a psychologist in Japan. The tl;dr is “Not gonna happen”.

  2. It would really depend on how studying in Japan would be beneficial to your career path and ur major. I’m a research student atm and I (and probably every other foreign student I know) were asked to explain why they chose to study in Japan upon application. If you intend to apply for masters/PhD, finding a supervisor whom you can work with well is necessary. Afaik, not many schools offer a masters/PhD in your field
