US Gaming PC in Japan

Recently moved to Japan and brought my gaming PC from the US with me – stupidly, without trying to understand the whole electricity situation here.

I bought a couple two-three prong converters (cheater plugs I believe they’re called?), but before just carelessly plugging them in I’ve read up on multiple sources, each one saying something completely different than the other.

My main concern is safety above all before using my device. I saw that there’s an earth wire for many three prong plugs here, but my only available outlet does not have the extra slot for said wire.

I want to know if any of you are just using these 2-3prong converters without issue, or if I should just invest in a new pc altogether here in Japan, optimized for Japan (if that makes sense).

Apologies in advance, really new to this whole grounding/electricity thing as you can probably tell…any help is appreciated! Thank you
