I have posted this message on a Xiaomi sub, but now guess asking Japan residents might be more helpful.
I own a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10JE, that I bought in Japan, where I currently live. I will soon leave permanently to Europe. I have been told Xiaomi phones sold in Japan are “Japanese versions”. I don’t know what that implies, so I have inquired Xiaomi about it.
Xiaomi tells me that my phone “might not function in Europe”. Not very helpful.
Has anyone bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note phone in Japan, and then used it abroad?
That would help definitely help me to know before moving if, yes or no, my phone will function correctly.
