Does legally marrying before / after my fiancé nationalizes matter?

For context, I’m on a student visa and fiancé is a long-term resident with a Japanese step-father. She’s set to nationalize in 2025 when she meets all requirements.

I understand two foreigners can get married, but **does it matter when we get legally married if my fiancé is nationalizing soon?** Would it be more or less hasslesome getting married before she nationalizes? **The purpose is to determine when it is feasible to get a spouse visa for me.**

And if anyone has any insight : Will they look at our marriage with a scrutinizing magnifying glass if we get married right after she nationalizes? Or is it common for people to do that soon within nationalizing? Any insight is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
