First time car owner in Japan, and my first Shaken is scheduled. I’ve definitely googled the topic, but I always get the same blanket “40,000-200,000$” answer, but I have no idea what the average in between is. We have a 2020 Suzuki Jimny we purchased with Big Motor at 8,000km. It’s at 11,000 now. Big Motor told us if we scheduled in advance, the appointment is 37,000 instead of 47,000, so we did. My understanding is, if there’s a problem with the car that they need to repair for safety regulations, that will be charged to the bill. Is that correct? Otherwise, what’s the average you have paid for this regularly?
