Moving to Japan with a Work and Holiday VISA. Need recommendations!

Hello, how is it going?

On mid March I am moving to Japan for a year, I already got a Work and Holiday VISA, so that’s done on my side. Since my country’s economy is doing quite badly, keeping my actual job is no use since the exchange rate would make my salary pretty bad for remote work.

So a bit on me, I am from Argentina, I mainly speak spanish but I’m quite fluent on english as well. My japanese is as basic as it can be. I do have a bussiness administration degree specialized in marketing, which I don’t think would be very useful without knowing the language, and yet I don’t think I would like to keep doing office work over there.

As for other skills, I am quite experienced at cooking and cocktail making, part of my interest in japan is to learn about its gastronomy. Do you think I could get something related?

Aside that, I am open to any recomendations. Any sharehouses you could recommend? I have been looking between gg sharehouse (which asks for 1 year contracts, so is not good for me) and Sakura sharehouse.

Any particular place that would you advice to live in? Any jobs I should keep an eye on? How to know if the pay is good or not?

Any other advice is well recived! Thanks a lot.
