What are the differences in writing style between the Asahi Shinbun, Nikkei, NHK and The Mainichi

Title. I am currently practising for the JLPT this summer and was going to subscribe to one of these websits to practise reading. To those of you who read the often news, what the differences in writing style between these 4 newspapers. Which one uses writing prose most similiar to JLPT?

  1. You’re way overthinking it. It’s all the same language; no specific newspaper is going to be more or less similar to the JLPT, especially when all content in all newspapers and in all JLPT tests are written by dozens of different people…

  2. they all write the same way, the only difference is between political affiliation, left center right
