I was contacted by UNITAS to do an interview for a teaching position. I postponed the interview once due to scheduling conflicts with my current job. I requested the day off this coming Wednesday to do the interview, but it was not approved, so I had to ask the recruiter to reschedule once more. I explained my work situation. However, they have yet to respond. I feel like I’ve completely lost the opportunity.
I expressly told my current boss that I will not be continuing after the end of my contract. I feel like she knows what I’m up to, so she is trying to sabotage my chances of finding another job.
Did I mess up by rescheduling twice?
