I’ve been in Japan for 9 years roughly. Took a year to help my dad in America, and came back recently this week. If I planned on possibly staying and working in Japan longer would it be better to not withdrawal my pension? Or should I let it go past the 10 year mark, I heard that’s a defining year for some things. Thanks

Lol can any SAHW/Ms on this sub reassure me that the lifestyle is okay? My partner is getting transferred to Nagoya and I’m not renewing my contract in our current city in order to join him. There’s like no jobs out there so I’ll be going to a language school full time to strengthen my business level Japanese. I’m just worried about not having any income coming in from me, despite multiple reassurances that even with a +1 we would be totally fine.
