hi i’m afab, not a minor & from the states 🙂 i’m attending go go nihon’s spring study trip in april & was wondering if anyone else on here is. it’s gonna be my first time in japan & i’m anxious !! i don’t speak much japanese & was wondering if anyone has any tips/advice, thanks 😀

    why… is this relevant? why don’t you just say you’re a girl, or whatever you identify as? and why does being over vs. under 18 matter? the legal age to drink here is 20. wouldn’t it be more helpful to say what year you are in school (high school? college?) or something? you’re giving so much weird information – it’s how people write twitter bios, not how you present yourself when seriously looking for relevant information. you don’t even mention if you have any experience with the language or not…

    frankly, this reads as if you’re a terminally-online teenager. that’s not meant derisively, just an honest assessment of this post. and i’m wondering what likely-inaccurate, social-media-inspired views you have on japan as a result. my hope is that your worldview gets expanded by coming to a different country and being around a different culture, even if it’s for a short period of time.
