I‘ve been living in Ota-ku for 4 years, our house sits in a corner between two small streets. During this time, public works have been done on both streets at least once per month. Either eletrical related works, water or gas. The pavement is being constantly opened and closed, and is full of uneven patches. Considering calling the city hall for some info, but I honestly have low expectations regarding any change. I just wonder whether it‘s really necessary to disturb people so often (unable to take my car, fumes, noise (even early on the weekend)). Is it an Ota-ku thing or is it the norm?
