Does anyone know how to stream Daily Show in Japan, or Comedy Central in Japan? I generally have poor results when trying to figure out how to stream this or that in Japan. Maybe it’s due to my crappy Japanese language search capabilities, or maybe just because it’s just because streaming sites suck at offering country searchable libraries of their content. What year is it? How is this not clear?

You use a VPN and pretend you are in X country.
The Daily Show is mostly on YouTube right? I don’t think anywhere here streams it live.
If you have relatives back in the US, just piggy back on their cable or streaming option with a VPN. I do this with my old man’s Xfinity subscription and works most of the time.
If that doesn’t work, just watch on YouTube, which is what I do with Colbert and J Kimmel.
I have VDSL which sucks with using VPNs. I use Controld.com it’s a cheap DNS tool that lets me watch streaming content all around the world. Much better than a VPN for me.
I can set my country location for any site to properly watch content with ease on those sites without being geo blocked.
I generally watch the clips on YouTube but failing that, the high seas are likely your best bet. I don’t think there is any official way to stream it in Japan apart from what CC uploads to YouTube.
