Itinerary recommendations for Tokyo > Hiroshima/Miyajima > ? > Mt. Fuji > Tokyo

Resubmitting this as my first submission was removed due to not having enough details. I’m planning a three day weekend trip while I’m in Tokyo for work and I’d like to ask people’s thoughts for a daytrip on the way back to Tokyo from Hiroshima that’s not Kyoto, Osaka, or Nara.

Day 1:
– departing Tokyo in the morning and arriving just before lunch
– I heard a lot of Miyajima closes early and will likely go straight there upon arrival. I mostly just want to see the Torii gate, the deer, eat some oysters, and see a bit of the town before going back to the mainland
– spend the afternoon seeing the peace museum and park, and the atomic bomb dome. If I miss out on the peace museum bc it closes at 5, I’ll go back in the morning of day 2 before departing.
– not sure what else in particular there is to do/see in Hiroshima (all the vlogs seem to only mention what I’ve mentioned above and the pancake thing) and I’m open to suggestions but might just enjoy the city at night aimlessly

Day 2 (option 1)
– leave in the morning and go straight to one of the cities near Mount Fuji, exact location and details still being developed
(Option 1a) staying the night near Mount Fuji and head back to Tokyo after breakfast on day 3 and explore the city
(Option 1b) go back to Tokyo at the evening of day 2 to save money and explore more of Tokyo on day 3

Day 2 (option 2)
– find another location between Hiroshima and Mount Fuji, depart Hiroshima in the morning and spend the day exploring
– likely spending the night there
– depart in the morning of day 3 to see one of the cities near Mount Fuji before going back to Tokyo that evening, timing and travel will have to be very fluid and will be planned out once/if another location is decided on

I’ll be in Japan for a few weeks for work and will likely see my fill of temples and gardens in general so I want to see something more unique than in any other city. My spouse will likely come out later in my trip and will want to see Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara so I want to save that for them. I could just condense that three day trip down to two and take a day to explore Tokyo but I’d rather see as much unique aspects to the country as I can… any thoughts? Thanks in advance!
