Receiving bills from the government but unsure if I have to pay them (Tokyo)

Earlier this week, I received 2 bills – one from the Japan pension services, and another for water and sewage.

On the bills, the deadline is set to this Wednesday, but I’m unsure if I need to pay it.

I’m currently on an 8 month internship here, and my pension is automatically deducted from my pay, and the exact amounts are listed on my pay slip.

I also live in a share house, so my utilities, including water and sewage, is managed by my share house company and the utilities are also included in my monthly rent payments.

Does anyone know if I need to pay these bills? I’ve been living here for the past 5 months but this is the first time receiving a bill from the government so I’m not sure how to deal with this.
