I bought a couple of Philips monitors in amazon.co.jp (sold and shipped by Amazon), but I’m thinking about returning them.
I don’t think they are defective, but both of them are slightly dim on the edges, and when I suspend/undock the computer, I get an annoying box bouncing all over for a minute showing “no connection”, until it finally turns off.
The problem is that I see in Amazon’s returns policy they only return 50% of the value on opened items, what kind of policy is this? This is completely different than Amazon.com.
But then I read in the sub that some people have received full refunds, even for opened items. If I could be sure to get a full refund, I would return them and get something better.
I kept the stickers, bags and everything, so I could in theory put everything back together and say they are unopened (the outer cardboard box was slightly damaged when I received it).
What should I do? Any experiences on this?
