Hello,
We are trying to figure out a 6 day itinerary for our 1st visit to Japan from Mar 14-20. Looking for ideas on things to do with a 5 yr old (who doesn’t like lines :)).
We want to visit other areas too but would try to cover in another trip preferably during Fall. We will be jet lagged and want to keep the walking manageable and rest as well.
Here’s our tentative plan, would love recommendations and any off the beaten path things to do.
3/14/2024 Arrive, check-in hotel, sleep
3/15/2024 Disney Sea (the Disney crowd calculator shows next week as pretty busy so want to get this out of the way)
3/16/2024 Walk around Uneo park, sky tree, Senso-ji
3/17/2024 Team labs & Legoland (are both doable in a day?)
3/18/2024 Lake Kawaguchi, Arakurayama Sengen shrine
3/19/2024 Either stay overnight and go to Hakon and spend the day there or come back to tokyo and do Meiji Jingu, Shibuya crossing etc.
3/20/2024 Yomiuri Land
3/21/2024 Fly back
Stay wise are Airbnb’s better? I generally prefer something with a kitchen so make easy meals (also helps being a veg).
