Anyone used Narita terminal parking for 10+ days?
P3 and P5 are showing to be similar price as those shuttle bus off site parking places.
7,850 for 6 days then 530per day after that.
Anything to worry about?
Been offered a new contract and it seems weird/sus some of their wording.
Originally there were occasional weeks where I would have to work 48 hours. Making me work a Saturday to meet some magical quota of 109 days off over the year.
They include public holidays in this calculation.
I negotiated that no week shall exceed 40 hours but they are saying if there is a Mon-Fri public holiday that same week I have to work Saturday. Almost like a reverse time in lieu.
This totals 14 Saturdays over a year. It’s not a huge deal, I’m on the fence on if this is a deal breaker for me or not yet. Unless it’s illegal.
Would I pay taxes on leather shoes ordered online in Europe?
Similarly, I’d like to purchase a suit online on a website in the U.S., would I pay taxes on that too?
I don’t mind paying, I just would like to know roughly what is charged and I can’t understand their charts for the life of me…
Thank you in advance.
I am in Japan, but once you leave Japan and they put your Pension money into your Japanese account..
How can you transfer it? I assume you need internet access to your bank, and then is there a good way to transfer such a large chunk of money?
Thank you
So, I’m moving into an apartment in around 20 days and there is no internet at all a the moment.
I would like to have internet, is there an option to get fiber-optic internet installed (if the owner agrees to it of course) or am I just stuck with the cellular network-based stuff?
If so, what are the approximate costs of doing it?
Question about PR: after getting PR, is the person who sponsored/referenced for you potentially on the hook for anything years later? I got PR over a decade ago and my sponsor is now retiring and worried that something might come up where they might have to pay for me on their retirement pension income.
If the answer is ‘yes’, is there a process to disentangle that?
Ordered something at Apple Store on Sunday to be delivered today between 14-16, I took off from work for those 2 hours to receive, it’s already 16:30 and WHERE THE FUCK IS MY PACKAGE? These delivery companies are such a bunch of cuntheads.
Half question and just half looking for reassurance – I drive a 125cc bike and am super paranoid about parking it downtown in my small-mid size city. I’m mostly inaka based but for the next six months will be in the city a lot. Let’s say I can’t find a spot downtown and leave it overnight in the bike/bicycle parking at a major sports park, no one is going to care, right? I feel like probably no one will care if I just park on the side of a small alley either, but, like I said, super paranoid.
I’m living in Ehime prefecture and want to convert my license to that of a Japanese one; I come from a direct conversion country so I expected this to be quick and a simple 1 day process. However, after calling the Ehime licensing center, it seems that their current wait time is 3 months, which is simply too long. I have a trip planned to Tokyo in 2 weeks, is it possible to do a walk-in to Samezu, despite my Juminhyo being that of Ehime’s?
I’ll be attending my first ever concert here in Japan soon and it’ll be in Tokyo Dome.
For those who’ve been inside, do they have areas where you can buy snacks and drinks?
I’m checking on the FAQ of concert page that bringing food and drinka inside are not allowed. Food, I would understand because that would turn out messy. I suppose for drinks as well. But what if you get thirsty, even a water bottle seems NG.
Really stupid question- I want to upgrade my GPU, but want to make sure my current system supports the GPU I want. Would it be possible to take my system to a computer hardware store and have them test-fit it (for lack of a better term) before I buy?
