[11 Day] [Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Kobe] [March Itinerary] [3/19/24 – 3/30/24]

Hi everyone! I have an upcoming trip to Japan and am so excited as this will be the first time I will be going, and I have wanted to visit for over a decade.

So, I was a little overzealous in saving over 200 points of interest/activities on Google Maps, and now I’m trying to pare the list down a bit. I haven’t even gotten to the places I would like to eat yet, and I’m a huge foodie, so I’m anticipating I’ll need to narrow that list down as well, once I get through everything.

I was thinking of starting by narrowing down which are more “essential” temples, parks, and observation decks.

I’m also struggling a bit with transportation. I am not planning to purchase the JR Pass as I don’t think it will be worth it based on the JR fare calculator. Japan has so many different lines I am getting a bit overwhelmed. Please help however you can. I would really appreciate it!
