日本の財務省が考えていること: 記者会見などでは、「断固とした介入をやる」とハッタリを飛ばしているが、実際に考えているのは「いかにして外貨準備を高く売り抜けるか」であり、投機筋の考え方そのものである。 本気で断固とした介入をやる覚悟や使命感などがあるならば、まずはNISAを廃止することや、キャピタルゲイン税を引き上げること、ウォーレンバフェットの起債をbanすること輸出企業の海外子会社の内部留保に重税をかけることなどの政策を日本政府に要請したり、アメリカのfederal reserve を説得して金利を下げさせる努力をしているいるはずだが、それをやっていないということは、財務省は円安を望んでいるということを示唆している。 大臣が記者会見などで発言している内容は、飽くまでも建前であり、実際は、円安でトヨタなどの輸出企業の利益を上げるように便宜を図ることが日本政府から指示されている。 トヨタなどが自民党に巨額献金しているから、「介入をやっているふりをして外貨準備を高く売り抜けて利益上げる稼ぐと同時に、結果的に円安に誘導する」というのが実際に意図していること。 岸田の米国下院でのスピーチでも明らかだが、耳障りのいいことを言って、聴衆を欺き、自国の印象を捏造して、自国の海外での投機的資金の収益を最大化することを狙っている。 だから、ウクライナやイスラエルへ本気で 対応しない。海外で得ている円キャリーなどの投機的資金で実際に日本が得ている利益のほんの些細な一部をウクライナへ支援しているだけで、実際は自民党の長老などがロシアと内通しているから、ロシアの敗北を避けたがっている。アメリカ共和党と同じ考え方。 by EnemyOfLDP

In March, investors rejected a company-backed reform proposal to split Toshiba into two businesses.
Some shareholders, including foreign investment funds and U.S.-based proxy advisory firm Institutional Shareholders Services, opposed the plan. An earlier plan that also was scrapped had called for a three-way split.
Dunno what happened to them. I bought a Toshiba Satellite laptop a few years ago and the thing would short out internally when you picked it up because the base was so weak, it would bend and touch off something on the motherboard inside. Threw it in the garbage after 2 months of trying to fix it. (Bought it in Japan but I was in Oz so couldn’t claim a warranty refund).
