I am going on a two week trip to Okinawa in March, I am thinking about renting a car to get around the island and getting my IDP from AAA. I noticed that the rentals are a bit expensive compared to US, some can be almost twice. Some websites are in Japanese only and they seems cheaper, I am using google translate for those so I may be missing something. Is there any advice or recommendations on where to get good deal preferably close to Naha airport. Also what to watch out for when I am driving around?
