Hey everyone, I had my first full year of income and now wanted to calculate how much I can spent on furusato nozei this year. However depending on the calculator/formula used the amount varies massively (+-25万円).
So my questions are:
When calculating the amount do I have to sum my and my spouse’s salary?
I alone fall into the 33% tax rate bracket. So the rough formula would be: Salary after deductions*0,02/0,57=amount?
The amount with this formula compared to the furusato-tax page calculator are just vastly different. Also the resident tax that I pay seems to be a big part of the amount I can deduct, however none of the calculators checks for where I live and the resident tax you pay is different from city to city isn’t it?
