Help with NAS not detected on SoftBank Hikari router

Just switched provider from big globe Hikari to SoftBank Hikari due to some mobile plan offer. After connecting SoftBank BB unit, and connecting NAS via LAN cable, could not find NAS on the network. Anyone has any idea on how to solve this please?

– SoftBank wifi router is connected to NTT GE-PON-ONU
– NAS is a DIY home build unit,
– If the info helps, on old router the NAS ip is 192.168.10.110, while on the SoftBank router, ip seems to be 192.168.3.xxx (as seen on laptop)

  1. Yeah so…. You connect to your “NAS” and change its fixed IP from 192.168.10.whatever to 3/whatever, or change it to DHCP and configure static DHCP lease on the bbunit: https://www.softbank.jp/support/faq/view/19680

You’ll need mac address of the network interface on the NAS, and you can set it to some fixed IP in 3.xx range.

If you can’t access it right now at all, just connect nas <-> laptop directly with a cable, set laptop network to a fixed IP in the 192.168.10.xx range, don’t configure a gateway etc, and then login to your nas at 10.110 and fix its network settings.
