Hello everyone,
I have packed everything to move to Japan and managed to fit my entire desktop PC in my suitcase and managed to make it under 32kg (as i read here that people have done this before).
I recently learned that my future company that is paying for my plane ticket chose Japan Airlines for the travel. Naturally i take a look at the restricted items : https://www.jal.co.jp/jp/en/inter/baggage/limit/
There is written “computers” and “computer accessories” in the “valuables” section and it is written that such items should be taken on carry on baggage.
I’m worried i might get my PC refused at the airport (and the 2 screens that are across 2 other luggages)
Has anyone ever moved their PC specifically with Japan Airlines ? Should i just dismantle everything and put it in carry-on luggage ? Did i misunderstood anything ?
