I inherited this Shisa from my grandpa during his time in Okinawa during ww2. It is occurring to me that this might have been stolen and I wanted to see if anyone had any information in regards to his origins. I hope he wasn’t stolen, but if he was i would like to return him to his rightful family. I know he is missing his lady counterpart and I would like to reunite the two if I can. From my observations he is made of clay and hand painted green, most likely made around or before 1945. If anyone has any information on where he came from or someone who can point me in the right direction I would love to help this little fella get home safely. Thank you for your time.
