Do you know any Japanese media that’s not translated to English?

I’m just asking for motivation. I figured if I knew of some cool stuff I’ll be able to get into that I won’t be able to fall back onto English for, than it would really inspire/excite me to keep learning. What is some cool Japanese media out there to look forward to?

  1. Well, even if Japanese content gets translated and subbed/dubbed into English, you will still miss out on things that you would otherwise get if you knew the language. Some nuance and meaning will just about *always* get lost in translation, and you’ll only be able to catch it if you can understand the original language.

  2. Refer to syosetu.com for your web-novel fix. The vast majority of the stuff there has never been translated.

  3. I can say for sure that a lot of visual novels are untranslated, take Tsukihime’s remake for example. But honestly, even if i cant say exactly what, there are bound to be A LOT of untranslated things in every field, especially if you dig a little deeper in

  4. most stuff is untranslated actually. you just have to start searching in japanese
