Looking to get input on our Itinerary for the Kyoto portion of our 2-week trip to Japan Mid-Late February, especially whether **our first day is logistically possible.**
Kyoto Day 1 (Feb 19):
* Arrive from Tokyo to Kyoto in the Morning
* Nijo Castle (1 hour + 30 min to walk to Imperial Palace)
* Imperial Palace (1.5 hour + 30 min to get to botanical garden)
* Kyoto Botanical Garden (1.5 hour + 30 min to get to Kinkaku-ji)
* Kinkaku-ji (0.5 hour)
* Nishiki Markets
**Note: our hotel is very close to Nijio Castle and Imperial Palace and Nishiki Markets – however due to opening hours, we need to make sure we do both of these between 9am-5pm and Imperial Palace closes at 3pm**
Kyoto Day 2 (Feb 20):
* Fushimi Inari Temple (2.5 hours)
* Kiyomizu-dera
* Gion district
* Gion corner? (traditional arts performance)
* Kawaramachi?
* Yasaka Shrine (free entry, nighttime pics)
*this day seems more relaxed so not a lot to worry about time constraints , i think at least*
Kyoto Day 3 (Feb 21):
* Arashiyama (3.5 hours)
* Get to Osaka in the afternoon
