And what did you do to improve?
We don’t have too many adults at our place, but I have really struggled teaching some women over the age of 35. Particularly, the housewives and particularly one-on-one. Not every one mind, but enough. We have naturally very little in common. I try and gut it out but it usually ends up a little awkward and I have to say my retention rate with them hasn’t been great historically. In fact, it’s been a catastrophe.
I am certain I have overcorrected a few of them and perhaps, out of habit, over-genki-ed it and been too loud. Also might have just personalised the lesson a little bit too narrowly over a handful of the same scenarios.
Just wondered if there were any quick wins I’m missing with this and just generally how people have improved upon weaknesses.
