Seeking recommendations for a licensed sparky any of you lovely people in Tokyo have personally used and had a good experience with, who can rewire an outlet for me.
Also looking to get a mitsumori for the re-wiring of all LAN in my flat to upgrade it from ancient CAT5e cabling/hardware, plus fish an extra new LAN line to where currently there’s a phone landline I don’t need – if they do decent work on the outlet job that is…
I know how to diy the outlet (and the LAN) and that it’s super easy, can get all the parts myself, but I prefer to pay someone licensed to do a nice, legally compliant wiring job to avoid any liability issues with our home insurer…
English speaking not needed, Japanese is fine. And yes, I know I can find a zillion sparkys with 30 seconds in google, but I’m specifically seeking shokai to someone good one of you has actually used.
Hoping to find someone who won’t do the kind of bullshit car mechanics and tradies often try to pull on gaijin here, sucking their teeth like it’s the most difficult job they’ve ever encountered in their 50 years in the trade, then quoting ridiculous prices.
Since they’re unlikely to come out except on a weekday, I don’t want to waste my time dealing with a circus of gathering mitsumoris for a simple job that will *definitely* be more of their time in transport to/from here than the actual job itself lol 😂
Extra Bonus if you know they’re willing to give a solid quote over phone/email if I supply pics of the outlet, existing wiring and detailed description of the work I want done etc.
