Hi. We will be moving from the US to Kyoto for four months starting next January with our 11 year old daughter. We are studying Japanese now but will not be fluent by then in all likelihood. My job will be very relaxed and will give us a lot of time to explore Kyoto and Japan during our stay while we will be homeschooling our daughter. Since she is very social and won’t have school I’m hoping to find activities for her and the rest of us to meet people and get involved socially. Art and cooking classes would be great as would joining a sports team. She swims and plays basketball and soccer. Could you please share your ideas and recommendations? Thanks!
