Cat Lovers: Looking for Birthday gift ideas around Tokyo

Wife’s an effervescent cat lover, however our apartment doesn’t allow pets. Her birthday is coming up soon and I wanted to surprise her with something cat related. I know very little about fantastic cats and where to find them. I was hoping some of you here who are cat aficionados could give me some helpful pointers.

Perusing the internet, this is what I have found so far:

* [Gotokuji Temple](https://maps.app.goo.gl/UGGupLGBXwyTTSsh6) as a starter, since it’s really close to where we stay. Wife’s spiritual, but not really religious, but I thought it would be a great place to checkout.
* [Nekomachi Gallery](https://maps.app.goo.gl/7gKcfy6suGpWc4sBA) in Taito for custom art made by local artists; I like this option, but probably that’s because though talentless myself, I am a big appreciator of art.
* [Nyankodo](https://maps.app.goo.gl/rukdAyMtAQwAboTS8) cat themed bookstore in Jimbocho. Wife’s a big ol’ academic bookworm (not really into manga), I am not sure what material is available here.
* [Neco Action](https://maps.app.goo.gl/Y6bkMdoXQKeZKU617) in Nippori. It’s a cat themed general stores and seems to have some uber sweet collectibles. I thought the painted stones from their website were a nice touch. It also looks indie and has that Mom-Pop store feel to it, which is a plus.

If any of you have been to these places, let me know what you recommend and expected budget?

The prices like for example Neco Action, were hard to find. Nyankodo has an active FB page and lists prices for some items. I am assuming Nekomachi Gallery could be the most expensive being custom made art and all?

Any other ideas are welcome and thank you for your input!
