Hello r/Tokyo community!
I’m currently looking to improve my Japanese skills and am interested in finding a private tutor. Since I’m relatively new to this, I wanted to get some insights from those who have experience in this area.
Could anyone share the going rates for private 1-on-1 Japanese tutors, both for face-to-face sessions and online? I understand that prices can vary based on the tutor’s experience, qualifications, and the depth of the tutoring provided, but I’m hoping to get a general idea of what to expect.
Additionally, if you have any recommendations for tutors or tutoring services, either in-person in Tokyo or online, I’d greatly appreciate it. Personal experiences, tips on what to look for in a tutor, or any other related advice would also be very helpful.
Thank you in advance for your help!
