I’m looking to buy a Burley bee, but Amazon is smoking crack if they think I’m gonna spend that much unless I buy it at a local shop. Does anyone know where I can get one in Kansai, I don’t mind riding to Kyoto or Kobe, or up into the mountains for that matter.

The…bike trailer???
The prices on Amazon seem to be on par with the prices from the official reseller in Japan, if not cheaper.

Look on [rakuten.co.jp](https://rakuten.co.jp). We were looking at a Wike, until we moved somewhere it wouldn’t fit through the elevator door.
Also, think long and hard about where you cycle and how you’ll get it through the bollards. We cycle along the Yodogawa, and there are some areas that are impassible.
Also check the road laws, I think using a trailer changes the bike classification and means you must ride in the street, not along the cycle area of a sidewalk if there is one. Not bad for short trips to daycare, but if you need to go down a busy road, you’ll have to make a choice.
