I flow in and out of NJPW, always watching WK. After a lengthy hiatus, I see they FINALLY have an actual NPJWorld app on Android TV. One of my biggest (first-world) complaints was having to stream from my phone to get it on the TV.
I got signed in and started watching WK18, and quickly found that I’m not a fan of the current English announcers. I’d much rather have the original audio with English subtitles. Once I got to the end of the WK18 playlist (kinda weird, but whatever) it loaded all the backstage interviews, with perfect subs, even saw a setting in the app about subtitles. I went back to the matches, thinking I’d missed something, but there’s no option for subs in the actual matches. Is that always the case? I’m watching WK 3 days after it aired, which seems like plenty of time to get some subs together, so is that just something they don’t do?
