Hello, I’m a solo female traveler with a dodgy right leg. My focus this trip is on nerdy stuff, culture and local/trendy food. So a little of everything really but more urban and less nature. Because of my Leg I’d appreciate a reality check for some of the more taxing activities (Himeji castle in particular)
Recommendations welcomed for weird and unusual attractions or cafes in the same areas. My Flight and accommodation are already booked so that sets the dates for early to mid march.
My Route is Tokyo => Okinawa => Kyoto => Osaka => Home (one way trip)
Anything in **bold** is the main attraction for that day, the rest are Flexible.

###Day 1
(Yokohama)
Land at Haneda Airport at 3:30 pm.
Forward luggage to accommodation in Tokyo, hop on the bus to Yokohama Park (30 minutes from HND)
**Gundam Factory show** Last show is at 7:20 PM.
Visit the park and get on a few rides if not too crowded.
If crowded explore Chinatown (Happy Pancake closes at 8:30).
Catch the train to Tokyo no later than 10pm as it’s an hour travel.
Check in to accommodation next to tamachi station if not lost already.

###Day 2
(Setagaya + Chofu)
**lucky cat temple** Gotoku-ji in Setagaya & breakfast at Shira Hige’s Cream Puff factory
Setagaya park (Hanegi park) for plum festival. Open 24hrs.
Visit the Meiji shrine since its Sat so might see a traditional wedding or event.
(maybe) The Crossing / Hachiko statue / Yoyogi park
JR To Shinjuku and from there to Chofu, spend the rest of the day here.
**Gegege no Kitaro Chaya** / Jindaiji temple / Onsen Yumorinosato
(maybe) yomiuriland after sunset for Jewellumination viewing. Open till 8pm.

###Day 3
(Akihabra)
(maybe) Hanazono Shrine flea market (shinjuko) 6:30am – 3pm. Morning activity
Akihabara, because weeb (Afternoon to evening if possible)
Today is Sunday. Also girl / doll day (Hinamatsuri) Temari sushi balls served today!
If reservations are possible teamlab borderless (Chofu has a festival)

###Day 4
(Ikebukuro + WB making of harry potter)
Morning to afternoon Ikebukuro Sunshine City / Otome rd
Afternoon (2-3 pm ticket) WB tour the making of Harry Potter. (Chofu has a festival)
Might switch them if I can get early morning tickets to HP.

###Day 5
(Asakusa & Ueno)
**street food and Senso-ji temple**
(Maybe) Kimono / Yukota rental.
Fake food store!
Explore park / museum in Ueno and open market.
If reservations are possible **Kirby café** for dinner

###Day 6
(Hakone) OR Matsuda
Day trip to Hakone OR Nishihirabatake Park for early cherry blossoms! Depends on the blossoms of 2024. Would like a second opinion on Hakone as a one day trip.
Day to be moved around depending on the weather forecast.

Check out and forward luggage to Kyoto.
**Unko (poop) Museum** (morning). Nishimatsuya store opposite, yukota for Baby niece.
Half a day to relax & explore before catching my flight at Haneda airport 6:30pm flight.
Plane lands at Naha Airport at 9:35 pm (3 hours flight)
Check into accommodation in Naha next to Asahibashi station

###Day 8
(Okinawa)
Book a day bus tour in advance featuring the **Churaumi Aquarium**
Tour is from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM **The Naha fish market for dinner**

###Day 9
Check out, Breakfast and explore Naha.
Visit either **Tsuboya (potter’s street)** or Naminoue Beach depending on the weather.
Airport for the plane at 6:30pm, lands at Kix in 8:30pm. Express train to Kyoto.

###Day 10
(Kyoto) (Sun)
(maybe) Hokan-ji temple, **Starbucks Nineizaka** + Apple pie lab next to it if open. 8am
Kyoto station to Saga Torokka sta. for the sagano romantic train. Maybe return by boat (2 hours trip)
Arashiyama, Bamboo forest / **Rilakkuma tea house** / Kimono forest / Kumonocha café / Togetsu-kyo bridge.
Get on the Randen trolley (tram) to Sai station (A03) and bus 205 to **Golden Temple** (Kinkakuji)
Nishiki market for dinner.

(Uji)
**Fushimi Inari Shrine very early morning** Max two hours here.

Ghibli shop is here.

Byodo-in Temple
Matcha museum (matcha grinding demo)
**Stop in at least one shop for matcha dessert** (famous ones pinned)
Back to Kyoto for dinner and walk around Gion at night. OR Nara for the fire festival.

Day trip to Universal & **Nintendo world**
Daypass + Nintendo world entry (13:00) bought.

(Osaka)
Osaka Castle & park early morning
Namba yasaka Shrine (lion head shrine)
**Dotonbori & Namba**
Hozenji Temple & Hozenji (moss temple in Dotonbori)
(maybe) Denden town
Ride the odd Ferris wheel
All luggage is forwarded to airport by the end of the day at most.
If too tired Osaka is cancelled and I’ll just roam Kyoto for a lazy day.

(Last day)
Check out of accommodation.
Little walk down philosopher path, **Kumano Nayakuoji-jinja Shrine** (start of the path) for a crow charm. (opens 9 am)
(maybe) **Himeji castle** for a day trip.
