A japanese national said something vague about there being two types of ETC, where one lets you get on and off the highway without incurring extra costs. They couldn’t remember any details and googling only yields up a 2nd ETC that is prepay not
tied to a credit card, doesn’t seem related.
Any idea what they are talking about?
