Hey there!
Have an unfurnished apartment lined up for a 1-year stay in Osaka on a WHV. The lack of furniture will be a fun thing to tackle, with second-hand shops and cheap Ikea purchases, but the fridge (and maybe microwave) is where I’m lost.
Absolutely no idea if rentals are possible, but as I’m only here for 12 months I don’t really want to spend a ton on appliances, especially if it’s difficult to offload them when I leave.
Anyone have trouble selling appliances in the past, and is it worth buying used from Facebook marketplace or some equivalent?
