A few years ago Indeed was all the rage. My friends working there were amazingly happy working on what seemed like basic web scraping at the limits of ethics and copyright laws, as if there was something special in their water fountain. However, the comments on [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/JapanFinance/s/Y0FPU9lU9E) show the picture has quite changed since.
What are examples of companies that are still “good”? I would define “good” as showing a commitment to compensate high-performers above market levels, being socially progressive, discouraging overtime, having clear evolution paths with systematic criteria, etc.
I’ve heard about Woven Planet but I’m not sure what’s happening there now the CEO has left. Also, Fast Retailing seems to be doing a lot right now although I remember it had quite a bad reputation only a few years ago.
