I’m going to the Osaka gigantic festival tomorrow but couldn’t get a shuttle ticket because I don’t have a Japanese phone number/address. Do you happen to know if it’s possible to get there by taxi? They say not to come by car if we don’t have a parking ticket, but since the taxi doesn’t need to park…
I’m travelling and have no idea what this Maishima island looks like 🙂

Edit for future people going next year: indeed, there are various buses, from Sakurajima station (JR bus) or from Nishikujou (bus 81, takes 30 min approximately). I also saw taxis on the island but don’t know if you can get them just like that.
I took a bus at 1 pm and it was ok. A bit more crowded at 7pm but doable. I’ll update tomorrow!
