does every kokuji have a chinese pronunciation and every chinese character have its own japanese pronunciation (even if it’s not used often)?

i’m assuming simplified chinese characters aren’t recognized in japan as kanji since they were only created less than 100 years ago or they have the same pronunciation as the traditional form
