Does anyone know if there are some spots worth visiting near Tokyo that are difficult to access by public transport ? I am thinking about renting a car for one day and drive outside of Tokyo to explore. I’ll be living really close to a car rental and it costs around $40 for one day.
(For context, idea started with visiting Chureito Pagoda, according to google maps it is quite tricky to get there and it takes ca 2.5h.)
Any tips appreciated !
