A bit of a niche question, but a lot of what I wanted to get while in Japan, doesn’t seem to exist here in Okinawa, probably because the Ryukyu culture is quite different from say, Kyoto.
I’m looking for a shop like Tozando Shogoin that sells authentic katana, or at least Iaido quality ones, versus the cheesy ones in the BX and touristy stores.
Additionally, are there any places like Shoyeido that sell Japanese incense? I’ve been to the Aeon and a few general stores but haven’t found anything close to what’s in Kyoto.
